1979 f150
i am pretty much completely new to the whole wheeling thign so im going to ask i found a 1979 f150 for 1700 do these still have the good ole straight axle front ends cause someone told me they only had solid front axles on 73-77 thanx and sorry for the retarded ?

Solid axle up until 1979. Dana 44 to be more specific.

A clean shortbed down here goes for $2500 to $3000 depending on what is done to it, what motor it has, mileage, and most important what kinda rust it has. It depends on what part of the country he is in, but $1700 could be a good deal.

Ya 1700 seems about right if its in nice condition. Just do what I did get a 78 threefiddy for 400 bucks with a slight fender problem lol

Picked up my 79 f-150 for 500 bucks
But it was a co-worker who was moving and wanted it gone.
