No, I sold my Bash Buggy that Randy Slawson built. It was awesome, but I needed room to take my kids and I wanted the smallest 4 seater out there. Twisted Customs makes a tight rig. I am 5'8" and I can fit in the rear, but there is not much headroom. I asked them to design it for kids though. I am not interested in hauling adults back there unless it is an emergency.

The roof rack is just a fun deal. I got some UBER cool lights from Bruce at www.roundeyes.com. I played with them last night and I swear, they are the brightest non-led lights I have ever seen. The rack and the light bar are held on with 7 bolts and can be removed in about 5 minutes with hand tools. I would guess it all weighs about 30# total.

The rig looks good

The rear air bumps hit the links? I assume the are intended for jumps and whoops, but how do they work with articulation? Do they miss the links? I have though about doing them that way before but thought it would side load the air bump.

I've been wondering lately if a 4 seat rig like this one would still be able to be competitive in the pro mod class. I can't afford two rigs and if I jumped up out of Ftoy I'd still need a rig that had room for the kids.

Nope, they are there for whoops and jumps. They dont even get close on articulation...they miss the pad completely so there is no side load. I will get you a pic. The fronts hit work during articulation, but we only have 100 psi in them so there is little input.

As for being competetive, this model is 6'' wider and 4'' longer than a mod stock TC buggy. I wheeled it on one of the hardest trails in the Black Hills this weekend and it laughed.

With a 21" belly, what is the roof height (to the aluminum, not the rack/lights)?

Top Kart.....go cart wheel. It is really light and comfortable.

I will get a measurement on height. It fits easily into a 7' enclosed trailer...I am guessing 6' 8'' to the top of the lights.

What trail did you guys do Nolen? Wish I was up there to join in on the festivities this weekend, sounds like you guys had a good time. The buggy turned out beautiful, my only complaint is that you didn't go with a red paintjob to commemorate Kate.

Hey Nolen,

The new rig looks really nice. I'd like to do a four seater like that in the future as well, but the current rig will have to stay.

I have a set of lights from Bruce as well and they really are very bright. I'm going to look into running a set of his LED rock lights on the new buggy.

Lets get some pics of that wheeling trip.
