Chevy spring hanger install...
'88 4runner
I checked the faq but didn't see what I'm looking for. I have the spring hangers spot welded 11" forward, however I noticed that the factory hangers are offset to the outside just a little. I have the new ones centered on the frame. I'm thinking the springs will have enough play to still line up with the axle but I want to be sure before I do my final weld. you want them centered, that's correct.

Center of spring hanger to center of spring hanger (side to side) needs to be 39 1/2 '' to match perch width. That is if you are using a Toyota rear end.
