This is my rig. 1980 chevy 1-ton chassis, shortened 40 inches, dana 60, 14 bolt, locked front and rear, full hydro streering, 350, turbo 400, 203-205 doubler, 38.5 boggers, with a 1989 jeep yj body on top. I have more in tires than I have in the rest of the rig.


This was the first time I drove it after building it. Damn cows make those ponds soft.

this is my 67 j-3000 on a 79 chevy 1 ton shortened 11" running 355/ th400/205 clocked down and in this pic had 60/14 538s locked f/r , she has 12" superlift in front shackle flip in rear fully caged front to rear running 49" irocks at this time shes in shop getting rockwells locked up f/r hyd steering and 388 full roller motor and few other goodys will post up some build pics

My K5

engine- 383 roller motor, about 540 hp and 530 tq
tranny- built th350 with ultrabell bellhousing, ati sprag and red clutches
np208 xfer case. i have 3 spares.
right now 44/14ff both open 4.11's. this spring the d60 is going in and both getting welded.
i also have the hydro steering setup ready to go on with the d60
full cage is being installed as we speak.
38.5 boggers
6" rough country lift, no blocks
Oh, and a nitrous works dual bar setup... hehe.

yup, i broke a short shaft yoke the first trip out. havent done anything crazy since then, just mostly dirt fields playing around. but they definately break. i brought 2 spare shafts out with me on wheeling weekends.
