Thanks to man kinds evolution you can now put down the BFH hammer and torch and give us a call. The DIY 20 ton press brake will produce accurate repeatable bends over and over again.

I have everything listed on the website in stock ready to ship out.

Thanks again for the orders.

Is the back stop removable? Looking at the pictures it looks like it may be bolted on, am I seeing the right? Would be nice if it was removeable for storage.
Correct, the back stop and two guide rails can be unbolted with two 1/2" nuts.

How wide is the V die opening?
1.75" opening which makes a nice tight bend in the metal you are bending. If I were to use a larger opening you would be able to bend thicker metal, however this press brake is designed for the guy bending up tabs and brackets up to 1/4" thick in the shop and looking for a nice tight bend radius.

Any chance in making a 2 or 2.5" die?

how much for the kit shipped to 60517 and where do i send money?

Max thickness

I'm not endorsing this, but I just bent 5/16" x 4" to 90*. The bend turned out great, but I was sure nervous doing it. I'd say the max I would even try is 3/8" x 4", but that's pushing it and you may not get a full 90*

If they made a 2.5" V die you could do ~6" of 3/8
A 3" V die would allow ~8" of 3/8 and full width 1/4" (19")

I'm not saying no to your request, however give me a couple weeks to test this out. It requires a several new parts which we will need to source, draw up and have laser cut.

Anyone else looking to bend 3/8" plate?
