so decided to design it all in fusion this morning because i didnt wanna measure by hand
i think everything came out good?
lower links will be adjustable from 8 degrees to 10 degrees thats the 2 different screen shots
building it into a cralwer
have a set of 12in kings that were speced for the weight of the truck
upper link is 75% of lower
started the truss on the axle and lower link mounts on the axle nothing els is made yet just in computer
5.3 swaped th400 205 5.38 gears 39 in boggers
any steering gear ideas since my axle is moved 5in forward? doing hydro assist not full hydro

Theres an oddball Chevy box that came on big GMC motor homes. Late 70's ima try to find it and post back. Its massive. Swings forward. Has a stupid long Pitman arm on it usually. The input may be weird IIRC. Googling a pic ... Unless I find one in a pile quickly.
ill have to find them ones and see how they would fit! only problem is my shock hoop might be right where the steering shaft sits

little update!

well made some progress on this. all my brackets got laser cut and i welded them up and welded them to the frame and boxed part of the frame
axle articulates great! pinion anlge doesnt do anything goofy. next waiting on bending up my shock hoops. i went a little overkill at 2in .25 wall for them and well my m605 is only rated at .188 wall

Lol. Yeah.... That's may be a bit overkill for shock hoops hehe....they won't difform...IF you can bend them in shape 😁 nice looking work.
Still haven't found the steering box I mentioned..
No 30+ foot long RV in the crush yard lately.
You able to move the stock box forward enough? I know the rad support mount is close by.. but maybe? I had cut and mashed the rad support with a sledge on my ford to get the box forward enough.

once i get the shock hoops made/ in then ill see if i can put a steering shaft in. i actually cut off the front spring perch/ core support mounts yesterday because well they are in the way so i can go forward easily
just drew up brace parts for my bender to convert it to the hd model ( rouge fab sells them but i can have them cut quicker then they can ship) then i should be able to bend it. local shop didnt have 2in 3/16 wall so i didnt wanna step down more probly should have but here we are lol

rememebred watching peck brothers and they used a 78 bronco box. i might look at that one because it sits up higher and that may clear the hoop with the angle there at
